About the role
As a Mining Surveyor, your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring all field and office survey work conducted by yourself is completed to a high standard and is in compliance with company standards and legislation.
- Providing assistance with any technical survey issues relating to your work and projects.
- Providing timely and accurate survey work to assist with optimising production and supporting the client’s operational needs.
- Maintaining any necessary surveying standards for your work and projects and assisting with drafting site specific standards if required.
About you
Experience is important, but our highest priority is finding the right fit for the role to deliver high quality work. Ideally you will have:
- At least 12 months’ underground or open pit mining experience
- Proficiency in mining software such as Surpac, Autocad, Deswik, Vulcan, Magnet or 12D
- Proficiency with Leica and Trimble survey equipment
- Additional qualifications or registration - highly regarded
- Great technical and time management skills
- Good communication skills and a ‘can-do’ attitude
- A valid driver's license and the right to work in Australia
