About the role
The Finance & Administration Officer is an integral part of the NSW and Corporate Teams with accounts receivable, payable and fleet management responsibilities within the finance team as well as general administrative duties and local support for the NSW team. This is a full time role based in the company's Singleton office.
This position is key to the delivery of a quality and professional service to our employees and external stakeholders. This position is also critical in the company’s objective to be an employer of choice. This is achieved through:

Ideal Candidate Profile
You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar finance / administration role with intermediate Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience in Accounting software (Xero preferred) and Job Management Software experience preferred (WorkFlow Max)
As our ideal candidate, you will possess a keen eye for detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management skills, ability to work in a team and autonomously, strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
As the Finance and Administration Officer you will have responsibility for:
- All external invoicing to clients within NSW, including some debt collection
- Co-ordination of vehicle management (including regular servicing) and rental property support (yard and property maintenance) for NSW
- Allocation of expenses against vehicles and NSW jobs
- Administrating the company fleet management compliance including motor vehicle insurance claims and fuel cards
- Provide support and assistance, when required, to other members of the Corporate team
- Ensure all work conducted is completed to a high standard and is compliant with company standards, procedures and legislation
- Provide timely and accurate data entry and record keeping as per company procedures
- Identify and report opportunities for improvement
- Provide general office and administrative support duties as required
